Maxomycin 250mg Tablet is an antibiotic used to treat various types of bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, ear, nose, throat, lungs, skin, and eye in adults and children. It is also effective in typhoid fever and some sexually transmitted diseases like gonorrhea.Maxomycin 250mg Tablet is taken orally, preferably one hour before or 2 hours after a meal. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Maxomycin 250mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
If you miss a dose of Maxomycin 250mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
