Malirid 2.5mg Tablet DT helps treat and prevent the recurrence of malaria in children. It is usually given in combination with other antimalarial medicines. It works by killing the malaria-causing parasites and stops the infection from spreading.Give Malirid 2.5mg Tablet DT to your child by mouth, preferably with food, to reduce the chance of an upset stomach. The dose depends on your childs weight and the type of malaria-causing parasite. Give Malirid 2.5mg Tablet DT regularly, at about the same time each day, for as long as your doctor tells you to, even if your child seems well. Stopping it early can result in treatment failure and increase the side effects too.
