Epstat 150mg Tablet SR is used to treat diabetic nerve pain. Poorly controlled diabetes can eventually lead to diabetic nerve disease (neuropathy) as a complication. This medicine helps to relieve symptoms like burning pain and numbness seen in people with diabetic nerve disease.Epstat 150mg Tablet SR belongs to a group of medicines known as Aldose reductase inhibitors. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Epstat 150mg Tablet SR may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
If you miss a dose of Epstat 150mg Tablet SR, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
