Epalpex 150 SR Tablet is used to treat diabetic nerve pain. Poorly controlled diabetes can eventually lead to diabetic nerve disease (neuropathy) as a complication. This medicine helps to relieve symptoms like burning pain and numbness seen in people with diabetic nerve disease.Epalpex 150 SR Tablet belongs to a group of medicines known as Aldose reductase inhibitors. It can be taken with or without food but you should try to take it at the same time every day. This will help you to remember to take it. It may take up to 3 months to get the full benefits of this medicine, but you should keep taking it regularly. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Epalpex 150 SR Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
If you miss a dose of Epalpex 150 SR Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
