Zegerd 20mg Sachet is a medicine that reduces the amount of acid produced in your stomach. It is used in the treatment of acid-related diseases of the stomach and intestine such as heartburn, acid reflux, peptic ulcer disease, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It provides relief from symptoms and promotes healing.Zegerd 20mg Sachet is best taken one hour before a meal, preferably in the morning. The dose will depend on your underlying condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep on taking it as prescribed even if your symptoms disappear quickly. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Empty the granules in a glass of water/milk, stir it and consume immediately. Zegerd 20mg Sachet is to be taken empty stomach.
If you miss a dose of Zegerd 20mg Sachet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
