Valzaar R 40mg/5mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines that helps to reduce hypertension (high blood pressure), thereby lowering the chances of any future heart attack and stroke. It may also be used to improve the symptoms of chronic (long-standing) heart failure.You can take Valzaar R 40mg/5mg Tablet at any time of day, with or without food, but it is best to take it at the same time each day. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Valzaar R 40mg/5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
If you miss a dose of Valzaar R 40mg/5mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
