About Valeptol Syrup
Valeptol Syrup is used to treat epilepsy (seizures) and bipolar disorder. It is also used in the prevention of migraines. It has a calming effect on the brain by relaxing the nerves.Valeptol Syrup may be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time, each day. What if you miss a dose?

Valeptol Syrup is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Valeptol Syrup may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Valeptol Syrup should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Valeptol Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.
Valeptol Syrup is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.Use of Valeptol Syrup is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
