Stamlo 5 Tablet belongs to a class of medicines known as calcium channel blockers. It is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and prevent angina (heart-related chest pain). It lowers blood pressure and reduces the heart's workload, which helps prevent heart attacks and strokes.Stamlo 5 Tablet may be prescribed alone or along with other medicines. The dose depends on what you are taking it for and the severity of your condition. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor before taking this medicine. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Stamlo 5 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
If you miss a dose of Stamlo 5 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.\n
