Prostrin 5mg Tablet belongs to a class of medicines called alpha-blocker. It is used to treat high blood pressure and lower your risk of having a heart attack or stroke. It may also be used to treat mild enlargement of the prostate gland in men (benign prostatic hyperplasia).Prostrin 5mg Tablet may be prescribed alone or in combination with other medicines. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Prostrin 5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
If you miss a dose of Prostrin 5mg Tablet, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.
