Poliomyelitis Oral Vaccine is used in the prevention of polio. It protects against poliomyelitis causing poliovirus. Polio or poliomyelitis is a crippling and potentially deadly infectious disease. The virus spreads from person to person and can invade an infected person's brain and spinal cord, causing paralysis.The first dose of Poliomyelitis Oral Vaccine is given at birth. Primary three doses of this vaccine are given at 6, 10, and 14 weeks of child's age. The vaccine is administered multiple times to ensure full protection. There is no risk of overdose and very minimal risk of adverse effects. How to Use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a marked dropper and take it as directed. Poliomyelitis Oral Vaccine may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
