About Ovident Gum Paint Tablet

Ovident Gum Paint Tablet is a combination of four medicines, used to treat mouth ulcers. It also reduces the pain, swelling, redness, and burning sensation of the ulcers.Ovident Gum Paint Tablet should be used as directed by your doctor and use it in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Apply it only in the mouth with clean hands. Do not use it more than the recommended dose.This medicine is generally safe and does not cause any side effects. However, if you experience any allergic reactions such as itching, swelling, rashes, etc., you should consult the doctor immediately.

How to Use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ovident Gum Paint Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

This medicine should be used only inside the mouth. Take a small amount of Ovident Gum Paint Tablet over a cotton swab and apply a uniform, thin layer of Ovident Gum Paint Tablet over the affected area. Avoid rubbing the area, as this may irritate the ulcers.

No, you should not swallow Ovident Gum Paint Tablet. If you experience any of the symptoms like vomiting, nausea, or dizziness in case of accidental intake of the medicine, contact the nearest hospital or clinic immediately.

Avoid spicy foods, acidic fruit drinks, and very salty foods which can worsen the pain.

Along with using Ovident Gum Paint Tablet, use a soft toothbrush, avoid eating and drinking immediately after applying this medicine, avoid putting dentures or braces back in the mouth for half an hour after applying the gel in your mouth, and stop smoking completely.

There is no definite cause behind mouth ulcers. Some of the factors include biting the inside of your mouth; food sensitivities to acidic foods like strawberries, oranges, and pineapples; lack of essential vitamins, especially B-12, zinc, folate, and iron; dental braces; using a toothbrush with hard bristles; and certain medications.
