Nicordil 5mg Tablet is a medicine used to prevent and treat heart-related chest pain (angina). It is usually prescribed when other heart medicines are either not suitable or have not worked. It reduces the risk of an angina attack by widening blood vessels and improving blood flow to the heart.Nicordil 5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food. It should be swallowed whole with water. Also let your doctor know about all other medications that you are using as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine. You should not take any medicines for erectile dysfunction with this medicine. Nicordil 5mg Tablet is not usually recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nicordil 5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
If you miss a dose of Nicordil 5mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.\n
