Meslataj Suppository is an anti-inflammatory medicine used to treat a type of bowel disease known as ulcerative colitis. It is used when the lining tissue of the inner rectum becomes inflamed (proctitis). It helps to reduce symptoms such as diarrhea, bleeding and stomach pain by reducing inflammation in the bowel.Meslataj Suppository is only for rectal route and should not be taken orally. It must be use under the supervision of a doctor or healthcare professional. Stay in a lying position for at least 15 minutes after the insertion of suppositories. Remove the wrapper from the suppository before inserting it. Keep lying down for about 15 minutes after insertion so that the suppository does not come out before it melts.
If you miss a dose of Meslataj Suppository, use it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
