Licotar 50 Tablet is used to control and prevent epilepsy (seizures). It controls seizures or fits by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.Licotar 50 Tablet may be taken with or without food, preferably at the same time, each day. If you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember as it can be life-threatening in some cases, so it is better to keep an extra stock always to avoid a missed dose. You should finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better and always consult your doctor before stopping this medicine as it may increase seizure frequency. Inform your doctor if you have any heart-related problems, before starting your treatment with this medicine.The use of this medicine may cause some side effects such as headaches, dizziness, dry mouth, muscle spasms, blurred vision, nausea, diplopia (double vision). Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Licotar 50 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
If you miss a dose of Licotar 50 Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.\n
