It is usually used for infections that did not resolve with other antibiotics.Faropam 300mg Tablet ER is the only medicine of its class that can be taken orally (by mouth). It may be taken with or without food. The dose and duration of treatment depend upon the severity of the infection and how you respond to the medicine. Take it at the same time each day and finish the complete course, even if you feel better. If you stop taking this medicine too early then the infection may return or worsen.The most common side effects of this medicine include rash, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Faropam 300mg Tablet ER may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
If you miss a dose of Faropam 300mg Tablet ER, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
