Ematra Capsule belongs to a group of medicines called retinoids, which are similar to vitamin A. It is used to treat a type of blood problem called acute promyelocytic leukaemia. This medicine may lead to birth defects, do consult your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant.

If you miss a dose of Ematra Capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
