Edmox Syrup is an antibiotic medicine with versatile actions. It can treat a multitude of bacterial infections including those of the ears, eyes, nose, sinus, tonsils, tooth, throat, lungs, skin, gastrointestinal tract, and urinary tract. It may also be effective against peptic ulcer disease.Give Edmox Syrup either with or without food but it is best to give it with food if it upsets your childs stomach. It is generally given two to three times a day. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking the medicine, repeat the dose when your child feels better. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Edmox Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Unless your childs doctor has advised a specific regime for your child, you can give the missed dose as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose if its almost time for the next dose. Do not give a double dose to catch up and follow the prescribed dosing schedule.
