About Clotrizee C Medicated Soap

Clotrizee C Medicated Soap is an antifungal medication. It is used in the treatment of fungal skin infections such as ringworm, athletes foot, nappy rash, sweat rash, and vaginal thrush. It kills the fungi by destroying the fungal cell membrane.Clotrizee C Medicated Soap is for external use only. You should use it in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. This medicine should be used regularly to get the most benefit from it. Do not use more than you need as that may cause increased side effects. If your condition goes on for longer than four weeks or gets worse at any time, let your doctor know. The effects of this medicine can be increased by keeping the affected area clean and dry and washing hands before and after treating the infection. If you have an athletes foot, wash your socks or tights thoroughly and change your shoes daily if possible.Some of the common side effects include skin irritation, redness, or itching at the site of application. If the side effects bother you or do not go away, let your doctor know. Some people have a severe allergic reaction that needs urgent medical attention. Signs of this include rash, swelling of the lips, throat, or face, swallowing or breathing problems, dizziness and nausea. Get emergency help if this happens.It is not likely that other medicines you take by mouth or injection will affect the way it works but talk to your doctor before using it if you have used a similar medicine before and had an allergic reaction. This medicine should only be used if it is clearly needed during pregnancy.

It is used to treat fungal skin infections such as ringworm (fungal skin infection that causes a red scaly rash on different parts of the body), athlete’s foot (fungal infection of the skin on the feet and between the toes), fungal nappy rash and fungal sweat rash. It is also used to relieve irritation of the vulva (external thrush) and irritation occurring at the end of the penis, which may be associated with thrush.

Clotrizee C Medicated Soap is effective against Trichophyton species which cause ringworm infection, athlete’s foot, and jock itch (fungal infection of the skin in the groin or buttocks). It is also effective against yeast known as Candida which commonly causes vaginal thrush (infection caused by an overgrowth of yeast called Candida albicans).

The symptoms of skin infection, such as itching or soreness, should improve within a few days of treatment. However, the signs such as redness and scaling may take longer to disappear. Do not stop applying this medicine before the duration advised by your doctor, even if you feel better.

Always wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying Clotrizee C Medicated Soap. If you are using the cream for an infected foot, wash and dry your feet thoroughly before applying the cream, especially between the toes, before applying the cream.
