Avertru 1% Dusting Powder is an antifungal medicine that helps treat infections of the skin, fingernails, and toenails. It kills the fungi by destroying the fungal cell membrane. This way it stops the growth of fungus and heals the infections.Avertru 1% Dusting Powder is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Clean and dry the affected area before applying the medicine. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after the application. Do not use the medicine for longer than your doctor has told you to and let them know if your condition does not improve after 2 to 4 weeks of treatment. If you have athletes foot, wash your socks or tights thoroughly and change your shoes daily if possible.Some of the common side effects of this medicine include skin irritation, redness, or itching at the site of application. If you miss a dose of Avertru 1% Dusting Powder, apply it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
