Atrozen Eye Ointment is used to treat myopia and inflammation in the eyes (uveitis or iritis). It is also used in induce cycloplegia for eye examination and diagnose eye problems like blurred vision or squint in children.Atrozen Eye Ointment is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as directed by your doctor. Read the instructions carefully before using the medicine. Wash the hands thoroughly before and after using Atrozen Eye Ointment. Doing so will help avoid the risk of any infection. Do not rub the eyes after instilling the medicine, as it can lead to redness or irritation. Continue the medicine until the prescribed course is complete.This medicine may have some minor and temporary side effects such as blurry vision, photophobia, decreased tear production, stinging in the eyes, and high blood pressure. These episodes should start receding after a few doses. However, if these side effects persist or become bothersome for your child, report to the doctor without any delay.Before you use this medicine, let your doctor know if you have a history of allergic reactions with any of the components of this product. Let your doctor also know about any medical conditions such as heart problems, blood disorders, airway obstruction, lung anomaly, gastrointestinal problems, skin disorders, liver impairment, or kidney malfunction. This medicine is for external use only. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the tube close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the tube and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid.
If you miss a dose of Atrozen Eye Ointment, use it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule.
