Atorfit Max Tablet is a combination of lipid (fat) lowering medicines. It is used to lower the levels of lipids known as cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood when lifestyle changes (eg. low-fat diet) on their own have failed. This medicine helps to reduce the risk of heart disease.Atorfit Max Tablet should be taken with food. You should take it regularly at evenly spaced intervals as per the schedule prescribed by your doctor. Taking it at the same time every day will help you remember to take it. Inform your doctor if you experience muscle pain, tenderness, cramps, or weakness associated with fever. Let your doctor know if you notice yellowing of skin, muscle pain or dark urine. You may be asked regular monitoring of liver function and blood sugar level while taking this medicine.Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have liver or kidney disease. You must tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. You should also let your healthcare team know all other medicines you are taking as they may affect, or be affected by this medicine.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Atorfit Max Tablet is to be taken with food.
If you miss a dose of Atorfit Max Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
