Tucanat Tablet is an anticancer medicine containing tucatinib that is used to treat HER2-positive breast cancer. It is used for adult patients where surgery can not be performed or in conditions where cancer has already spread to different body parts. It works by blocking the HER2 protein that is responsible for cancer cell growth. It is usually taken twice a day (every 12 hours), with or without food. Take it exactly as prescribed by the doctor. Common side effects include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and rash, among others. Do not take it if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Inform your doctor if you have existing kidney or liver problems before taking this medicine.
